This Privacy Policy describes how GudLabs handles information in connection with AccountPilot.

1. Product scope

AccountPilot is a creator publishing workspace that can connect authorized TikTok accounts, prepare creator-selected media and metadata, schedule publishing jobs, submit creator-approved posts through supported platform APIs, track publishing status and display connected-account analytics.

2. Local-first operational data

AccountPilot is designed as a local-first desktop workspace. Publishing jobs, schedules, media paths, selected settings, approval records, operational history and related application state may be stored on the user's computer.

3. TikTok account authorization

When a creator connects TikTok, AccountPilot uses the authorization and account identifiers needed to provide creator-authorized product functions. AccountPilot does not ask creators to provide their TikTok password to GudLabs. Access to TikTok data depends on the permissions the creator authorizes and the capabilities made available by TikTok.

4. TikTok data used by AccountPilot

Depending on granted permissions and product use, AccountPilot may process account identity/profile information, account statistics, permitted video information, creator capability information, publishing status and identifiers necessary to provide the requested integration.

5. Content and publishing metadata

For creator-selected publishing operations, AccountPilot may process local video metadata, captions, cover selections, privacy choices, supported interaction settings, disclosure choices, schedules, timezones and publishing status. Necessary media and metadata are transmitted to TikTok only when the user invokes or authorizes the relevant publishing workflow.

6. Optional caption assistance

If optional AI-assisted caption preparation is configured, information sent to the selected AI provider depends on the user's provider configuration. Suggested captions remain editable drafts and do not themselves approve, schedule or publish a post.

7. Credentials and temporary upload information

AccountPilot is designed not to expose access tokens, refresh tokens, client secrets or temporary signed upload URLs through ordinary user-facing responses or publishing history. Local credential protection and platform authorization controls are used as part of the connected-account workflow.

8. Third-party services

AccountPilot integrates with TikTok and may use other user-configured service providers. Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. AccountPilot is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.

9. Retention

Local AccountPilot records remain on the user's computer until removed through product maintenance, deletion of the relevant local application data, or other supported cleanup. Third-party platforms may retain data according to their own policies and account settings.

10. Deletion and revocation

Users can revoke TikTok authorization through applicable TikTok account controls. Users can also request GudLabs assistance with AccountPilot data deletion or connected-account cleanup by following the instructions on the Data Deletion page.

11. Security

GudLabs uses product safeguards intended to reduce accidental disclosure, stale approval, duplicate publishing and unsafe execution. No system can guarantee absolute security; users are also responsible for securing their computer and connected accounts.

12. Changes to this policy

GudLabs may update this Privacy Policy as AccountPilot changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
